Dear HKUST Members,

We are proud to share that the HKUST Flag Guard Team achieved excellent results in their first participation in the Flag Raising Competition (全民國家安全教育日-香港青少年軍升國旗比賽) organized by the Hong Kong Army Cadets Association on 12 April 2026.
Our team won a Silver Award (Ceremonial March) 大專及大學組–正步組 and a Bronze Award (Synchronized March) 大專及大學組–齊步組 in the "Tertiary and University Category".

The students demonstrated great dedication and teamwork, bringing well-deserved pride to HKUST. And, two alumni trainers Ms LI Ailin and Ms YEUNG Yat Yau provided invaluable coaching throughout the preparation for the competition.
